About Hot Yoga Altea
Hot Yoga Altea is a yoga school in Spain offering 10-day Yoga Teacher Training retreats (200h hybrid format) rooted in traditional Indian yoga practices. Our programs emphasize depth, discipline, and authenticity, aiming to inspire and educate the next generation of yoga teachers.

The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Indian Yoga Teachers for a temporary retreat-based teaching role in Spain. This position is ideal for teachers who are passionate about traditional yoga systems and enjoy teaching in an immersive retreat setting.

Teaching Focus
Our retreats follow a traditional structure, including:

• Morning mantra chanting
• Extended pranayama practices
• Ashtanga Vinyasa & Hatha Asana practice
• Yoga philosophy lectures
• Asana clinics
• Meditation and Yoga Nidra

Teaching Schedule

• Approx. 6 hours of teaching per day, including:
  • 2h Asana practice
  • 1h Philosophy / lecture
  • 2h Asana clinic
  • 1h Meditation / Pranayama
• Retreat duration:
  • 6 full teaching days + 2 half days
  • Total teaching commitment: 7 days
• Group size: 5–8 students

Dates

• Upcoming retreat: 2–12 April
• Additional retreats in June and July
• Dates spread throughout the year

Requirements

• Indian Yoga teacher trained in traditional lineages
• Certification: E-200h, 500h, or E-500h
• Strong foundation in Philosophy, Meditation, Nidra, Pranayama, and Asana
• Passion for teaching and mentoring future yoga teachers

Compensation & Benefits

• €150–€250 per day (based on experience)
• Food and accommodation included
• Two-way airport transfers from Alicante or Valencia
• Teaching location: Private villa near Alicante with indoor & outdoor shalas, pool, relaxation areas, and close access to the sea
