Yoga on the Inside is seeking a skilled Trauma-Informed Yoga Facilitator for a cover/back-up role supporting our women’s cohort in a therapeutic setting. This is a rare opportunity to bring your expertise to a purpose-driven program that blends yoga with meaningful social impact.
About the Role
As a cover/back-up facilitator, you will lead weekly sessions for women at risk, supporting their emotional and physical wellbeing through trauma-informed practices. You will work within a structured, safe, and supportive environment, upholding the highest standards of care while contributing to the studio’s mission of transformative, mindful movement.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate trauma-informed yoga sessions for women at risk
- Support participants in self-regulation and mindful movement techniques
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all participants
- Collaborate with the director and team to ensure program continuity
- Uphold confidentiality, professional standards, and studio protocols
What We’re Looking For
- Foundational trauma-informed yoga training
- Experience working with at-risk or vulnerable cohorts
- Strong understanding of human behavior and self-regulation skills
- Personal self-care practice and professional insurance
- Current CPR/First Aid certification and willingness to undergo a Criminal History Check
