Stellamar are recruiting a Spa Manager to join a luxury vessel — start date January 10th. This is an exciting leadership role for a motivated hospitality professional with cruise ship or yachting experience (required) who wants to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a premium onboard spa.

About the role
As Spa Manager you'll run the day-to-day operations of the spa, lead and motivate your team, maintain service standards, and drive retail and treatment revenue while ensuring every guest receives a memorable, high-quality experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage spa operations, schedules and inventory.
• Lead, train and coach spa therapists and retail staff.
• Deliver outstanding guest service and handle guest feedback professionally.
• Drive sales through treatment upsells and retail initiatives.
• Maintain health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Produce reports on revenue, occupancy and retail performance.
• Ensure uniform, presentation and brand standards are maintained.

Candidate requirements (must-have)

• Cruise ship or yachting spa experience — required.
• Proven supervisory or managerial experience in a luxury spa environment.
• Strong sales and retail merchandising ability.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid passport and ability to work at sea for contract rotations.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and peak guest periods.

Contract terms & benefits

• Monthly total salary (including leave pay): USD $2,350
• Commission on spa treatments and retail product sales
• Seniority bonus: USD $50 per contract from the 2nd contract (capped at USD $500)
• Pension: 3% employer contribution after successful completion of probation
• Uniform allowance: USD $75/month (business-style attire)
• Rotation: 4:2 (first contract will be slightly longer due to training/overlap)
• Competitive tips and additional guest gratuities

Average earnings

• Year-to-date average earnings: USD $5,730 per month (including salary, commissions and tips; does not include potential seniority bonus)
