I’m looking for a seasonal yoga teacher to come teach at my yoga studio in Anaconda, Montana. I currently offer 11-13 classes per week and would like to split the load with another yoga teacher.

About the position:

Anaconda Yoga currently offers a few styles of yoga: Slow Flow, Yinyasa, Power Flow, Chair Yoga, and Restorative Yoga. I am open to your own style and offerings and would love to offer more to my community.

Because it is a small community of about 10,000 people, the classes are small and intimate. The space holds 15 students but typically has anywhere from 4-12 students per class.

As a yoga teacher, you’ll be expected to open and close the studio for each class and check students in.

I pay teachers 30% of ticket revenue, which varies greatly depending on the number of students in each class. The typical range is between $15 and $45 per class. If you host any workshops while you’re here, then the studio takes a 40% cut and you keep 60% of ticket revenue. I can help with marketing to the local community, and you are more than welcome to invite your own audience to attend anything you host at the studio.

I can help you find living accommodations. I’m working on finding something furnished and permanent for teachers to rotate through, but housing is limited here. So in the meantime, I can help you find affordable transient living accommodations, like in a local hotel or hostel.
