Opportunity description
We are looking for a manager to oversee all recruitment and community initiatives.
Hridaya’s Community Manager primarily oversees the Karma Yoga (KY) Program, including participant flow and recruitment across our centers in France and Mexico. At our France center, they also actively coordinate community activities such as birthdays, departure celebrations, Community Day planning, Christmas dinners, and other more significant events.
The Community Manager employs a professional yet human-centered approach in line with our spiritual aspirations and supports a harmonious, purposeful community, ensuring that activities are aligned with the Hridaya Vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of the Karma Yoga Program
- Overseeing the operational and community aspects of the program.
- Collaborating with the Head of Sangha and senior teachers to uphold the spiritual direction and integrity of the program.
- Offering day-to-day support to Karma Yogis at all stages of their service periods.
- Recruitment
- Working closely with the Head of Sangha and various departmental coordinators at our centers in France and Mexico to establish the needs, requirements, and timelines for KY Program participants.
- Developing and implementing recruitment initiatives to enhance the visibility of the KY Program.
- Overseeing the entire KY recruitment process, including posting on appropriate websites and portals, screening applicants, setting up interviews with departmental coordinators, and contributing to the selection process.

Qualifications:
While serving at our centers and working with others, it’s essential to cultivate the Karma Yoga spirit, consciously integrating daily responsibilities into spiritual practice.
The ideal candidate has:
- Proven experience in human resources management or a similar role
- Pragmatic leadership skills and the ability to manage diverse teams
- Intuitive organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in French and/or Spanish is a plus
