Bio
Hi, I’m Kasia Hamilton, a creative practitioner originally from Poland, living in East Sussex and sharing working time between the quiet of the sea and vibrancy of London.
My professional background is in interior design and for many years I have worked on projects designing mostly interactive, narrative driven spaces. Alongside my creative practice I lecture across undergraduate and pre-degree courses at the University of the Arts London. I treasure these experiences as I love connecting with people and sharing my skills with a wider community.
Living and working in Vietnam during the pandemic is where my diverse interests began to merge into more holistic lifestyle. I embraced my personal ventures and professional expertise, and created a practice that connects my passion for cooking plant-based food, working with textiles and yoga.
All I do is deeply rooted in personal experiences. Most profoundly, my husband’s death in 2023, which precipitated questions regarding the role of creative practice in healing and more holistic approach to wellbeing. I have turned daily challenges into opportunities experimenting with fibres and textiles, immersing myself in culinary world of plant-based cooking and practicing yoga daily, which allowed me to process, begin healing and grow.
