About the Role
As a Yoga Teacher at DownDog India, you will lead small to medium-sized classes in your specialized style Hatha, Vinyasa, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Yin, Jivamukti, Baptiste, Pre-natal or Post-natal while assessing members individually and designing sequences to support their goals. You’ll work in a modern, 12,000 sq ft luxury space off Golf Course Road, Gurgaon, and contribute to a culture that prioritizes wellbeing, connection, and mindful movement.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, personalized yoga classes across your areas of expertise
• Assess members’ skill levels and design appropriate sequences
• Support members in alignment, breathwork, and safe practice
• Foster a welcoming, interactive, and empathetic class environment
• Maintain professional standards and contribute to the studio’s growth

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Yoga from a credible institution
• Minimum 500-hour Yoga Teacher training and international teaching experience
• Professional certification under globally recognized teachers (e.g., Sharath Jois, BKS Iyengar, Kathryn Budig)
• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi; additional languages a plus
• Humble, self-motivated, and committed to ongoing learning
