The Salty Pelican is a small, sea-loving surf and yoga retreat in Cascais, just along the coast from Lisbon. Our weeks are built around the rhythm of the ocean, sunrise yoga, surf lessons, slow meals at the long table, and the kind of guests who come in tired and leave a little softer.

We're looking for a Yoga Teacher to join our seasonal team on a work-exchange basis for the Summer 2026 season (May to September). You'll teach one to two classes per day, five to six days per week, leading our morning Vinyasa and our evening Yin or Restorative sessions for retreat guests.

You're 200-hour certified at minimum, comfortable holding a mixed-level room, and bring grounded presence to the mat. We love teachers who can also lead a guided meditation or breathwork session, and who are happy to be part of the wider retreat team between classes (everyone pitches in around mealtimes).

In return, we offer free private accommodation in our team house, all meals included on retreat days, surf lessons on your days off, and a small weekly stipend.
